    Hi!  My name is Douglas Elijah Travis.  Yeah, I know.  Three first names.  At least that's what I was constantly reminded of through out elementary and middle school whenever I started a new class ( LOL)

     That's been ...Wow!  About twenty to twenty five years ago.  I'm thrity three and in January, I'll be thrity four.  A lot has happened since those days.  I went from being the person everyone looked up to and respected to now being locked up for crimes I didn't do.

     It was shock to me, to then taste what I had seen on TV, so often about someone else, falsely accused of things they didn't do.

     This system failed me and clearly in black and white lied on me.  I have been interviewed by a major news network and have colleges " Looking" at it.  I'm seeing a life sentence and I didn't do it.

     I'm hoping to make friends, associates, possibly romance, possibly support;  mainly just someone to kick it with, share my experiences, and receive advice.  As hard as it may be to believe, I'm not bitter.  One day when I am given justice, I want to be a institutional speaker at Middle Schools.  I like to design clothes and I write poetry and short stories.  By trade, I'm a carpenter.  I enjoy sports, but here all I play is basketball.  I like football, baseball, soccer, tennis, golf, basketball, swimming. 

     I'm very athletic.  I have a good sense of humor.  And, I'm trustworthy.  I'm a people person very easy to get along with.  I believe in friendship.  I look forward to meeting an honest, straight forward person who is not afraid to speak what's on their mind.  Remember, no matter what we go through in life, communication is an important part.  It's vital to healthy relationships.
