I am not a worthless man.

I am going to be in prison until 2013....or anytime until 2018 - depending on whether legislation is favorable to me is passed.

I was stupid. I messed up. Now, I'm paying the price. I lost my family, job, career, the respect of everyone I know and my freedom.

Addicted to sex - pornography especially - I gave in to curiosity a few years ago and looked at (and later forwarded to other people) illegal pornography over the Internet. It was wrong and I wish that I could go back in time and stop myself from doing it. There are so many, things that I wish I could undo - but that isn't possible.

All I can do now is be the best man I can be. With God's help, I know I can recover in my addiction and make amends to the people I have hurt.

I'm divorced, 51 years old and lighter than my picture indicates. I've lost 60 pounds since coming to prison. Giving up Coca Cola helped. ( I could use a cold beer, however!) I consider Houston, Texas to be my home.

I was a High School Science teacher. My current interests are business topics ( I hope to open a 'gift' business one day), addiction recovery and spiritual topics and reading anything else that I can get my hands on.

My hope is to find a kind person who wants to correspond with me. If you have experience with "Twelve Steps" groups (or not), can condemn the sin, but not the sinner and want to discuss travel, science, hiking, addiction psychology, spirituality, etc.....I would enjoy getting to know you.
