Hello. My name is Toby Taylor and they say to know me is to love me. "Please know me". I need someone to care about and someone to care about me. I don't want my heart to grow cold and hard and I'm starting to feel it to do that. I have no one to write or no one to write me. This is the first letter I have wrote in many years.

I have been in prison all my life and thought I didn't need anyone. I was so wrong. My last visit was in 1987, my whole family is passed away and I am alone. I have not received any mail from outside of prison in 15 years. I get out in 2011 and I am scared to death. I know nothing about the outside world. I just want a friend on the outside. If you can imagine several years going by and at mail call your name never being called? That's lonely.

I'm in prison for armed robbery. I have never hurt anyone. I will write to anyone that writes me. I will not ask for anything because I am content with what I have. My goal in life is to get out of prison and have a life. I like everything in life. I try to enjoy each day the best I can.
