The Hammer rises - Falls - Methodically - Incessantly
He must keep chipping
Vibration shoots with each Impact
He must keep chipping
The sun beats down upon his back
He must keep chipping
Stinging sweat blurs his sight
He must keep chipping
Throat parched - Muscles aching
He must keep chipping
Lips cracking - blisters bursting
He must keep chipping
Never looking - never seeing - he must press on
He must keep chipping
Never asking - never seeking - he presses on blindly
He must keep chipping
Always chipping, forever chipping, chipping, chipping
He must keep chipping

Like a light - the light of Reason - comes Understanding
He stops chipping
He looks up to see ;the Rock - it's Neverending
Hammer, cast aside; he walks away.
