My name is Josh.  I'm a 21 year old black male, originally from Harlem, NY, but have lived in Richmond, VA since '96. 

     First, a little bit about myself.  I enjoy being active, especially when it comes to the outdoors.  I love riding motorcycles and lifting weights.  I am an animal lover by nature.  My favorite animal is the dog, breed:  terrier family.  I enjoy life as I am very optimistic.  I love children, but have none of my own, not yet anyway.  Eventually, I will.  I am confident, yet not egotistic.  Shy, yet outgoing.  I am not judgmental and consider myself to be very open minded.

      I am looking for friends who will accept me for who I am as I will give the same in return.  Traits that I seek are understanding, first and foremost, and honesty.  I enjoy traveling, especially to places where I can swim.  I love ocean views and love to shop on vacation with friends and family.  I am open to the possibility of relocating upon release.  I am looking for someone who cares enough to be a real friend and who would like to look at this situation as a chance to get to know one another and the possibility of a friendship evolving into something that will transcend these gates once I am released.  Who knows what the future may hold.

      Once I am released, I plan on traveling abroad, but the two places on the top of my list are Brazil and Puerto Rico and other exotic locations after these two.  I enjoy going to the studio and recording original music.  I am a Cancer on the Zodiac chart and therefore, am very romantic.  I enjoy cooking.  My specialties are fish and chicken.  I am equally at home wining and  dining out on the town or just kicking back at home watching movies.  I will respond to all letters and pictures in return.
