My name is Durkheim.  I am a thirty - one year old, incarcerated, African American man, currently residing in New York.  I'm 5'10", with a well built 168 lbs physique.  I'm a non - smoker and very devoted to staying in shape by dieting and exercising.  I believe a man's appearance should speak in volume, as much as value.

     I'm respectfully educated, earning a Sociology Degree during my incarceration and continuing my education in Business Finance.  I speak a few different languages and studied many different cultures.  I grew up with a large family and really love being family oriented.  I am also a God fearing man, who believes in the Most Highest, up above.  Through my will and faith in God, I've grown wiser and have become a stronger more productive adult, mentally and spiritually.

     Before my imprisonment, I enjoyed traveling and attending many social and cultural events.  My goal, one day, is to invest in the ownership of a travel agency and provide day care centers to children in urban communities.

     Within my spare time I love reading books by authors:  T.D. Jakes, Zane, James Patterson and a known favorite, Robert Greene.  I also write poetry, listen to music by artists like Maxwell, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige and Jay - Z.

     My love interest is meeting an open minded single female, with ideals and goals.  Some one who's kind, caring, funny and intellectual;  A female with confidence who's trustworthy and reliable;  That's spiritually, emotionally and financially stable.  I love a female who's romantic, radiant, warm hearted, very soft spoken and understanding;  one who possesses beauty on the inside as much as the outside;  someone that I can talk to with honesty and believes that communication is a key to building a strong and healthy long term relationship.
