NOTICE OF UPCOMING SHOW Art Behind Bars, the art-based community service program for female inmates in the Monroe County Detention Center in Key West, will host two shows: an exhibition at Three Legged Dog Gallery on May 21, 2000; and our "6th Birthday Party Show" on September 10th, 2000. As part of these events, there will be a Silent Auction of artwork donated by inmates in prisons all over the country. If you would like to donate a piece of your artwork or handicraft, you may do so knowing that it will be seen by many people at the shows. Sale of the artwork will help fund an on-going innovative program that has helped more than 1,500 inmates, while raising money for numerous non-profit organizations.

You may include a brief note, if you want to, about what art means to you, or how it helps your ife. This will be displayed with the donated piece unless you say otherwise.
