My name is Del Mc Elwee. I am 42 years old, serving a 7 year sentence for burglary of a habitation. I have a longway discharge date of Dec 7, 2009, but am eligible for a shortway discharge in June or July, 2008.

My birth date is July 12, 1965. I'm 5'9 1/2 ", 165 lbs, blond with green eyes. I've never been married and I have no children. I was engaged once, but she proved to be unfaithful, so I called off our wedding. I have several brothers and sisters, my adoptive parents are deceased, as well as my biological Mother. I also have several half brothers and half sisters, but am not close with any of them.

I was born in Wichita, Kansas, but grew up in Pasadena and Deer Par, near Houston, Texas. I've owned and operated Del's Tree Service from 1991 -2002, when I was arrested attempting to collect a debt from a customer. Regardless of the circumstances it, it was poor judgment on my part, which led to my incarceration, and I blame no one but myself.

I am a Born - Again Christian and I believe in receiving a new start. I am currently planning to parole/discharge to a ministerial training program called Care Center Ministries in Dallas, Texas an outreach of Pleasant Grove Worship Center, pastored by Mel Gipson - not Gibson, like the movie star. I plan to re-establish my business in the Dallas area and continue to reside there, as well, even after discharging the Care Center program, which is one year long.

I believe in the simplicities of life and of love. I believe marriage is a life long commitment. I believe a wife and children are gifts from God, to be thankful for.
