                    Heart and Soul

years have come and gone, separated,
miles apart, yet the memories of you are
still vivid...
    Like a picture screen images of you run through
my mind. Torn inside feeling helpless, my son how I
wish I could be there to guide you to protect you...
    Each night I pray to the good Lord and ask him
to keep you safe...
Temptations of the world are all around you son, lord
don't let my son fall into darkness...
    Each night I pour out my heart and soul asking God to
keep you from harm...
    Tears fall as I blame myself for your misguidance,
too young to perceive the consequences of your wrong
decisions. Your my heart and soul, my son!!! my son !!!
Lord help my son !!!....
     Each time I read God's words that speak of
Faith and Love, I try to keep them in mind, but it is
easier said then done...
     Are you warm ? Do you have shelter under a
roof? Have you eaten ?....
     So many things run through my mind so I pray
but soon the day will come when we will be
united and that will be the day I obtain
my heart and soul...
