I'm 37 ( July 1973), tall and fat
-- like John Candy, but funnier. I like people of all stripes and
am looking to make new friends. I don't put limitations or
pre-conditions on who I'd like to hear from, because I believe that you
never know what someone is really about until you get to know them. I like to read, both for knowledge and pleasure. ( I'm ecstatic when I can combine the two.) I like puzzles and problems of all sorts and I love to learn new things. I'm fond of novelty in general --new people, places, ideas, etc.) I particularly enjoy investigating how things work, from atoms to societies. I'm fact - friendly, but not a Grad grind. ( My heart leaps up when I behold even an unwoven rainbow.) I dabble at all sorts of writing, but I especially like to write ( and read!) personal letters, as they represent my main point of contact with this wider world. My musical tastes are too varied to try even a partial list. I'll just call it "eclectic"(Mozart to Metallica). Random shuffle was invented for me. By necessity, I spend a lot of time thinking. I have tried hard to make that a source of strength. At first, that meant a lot of painful introspection. ( "O mind, mind has mountains; cliffs of fall frightful...Hold them cheap may who ne'er hung there.") More recently, I use my time largely to plan my life after release. I've learned some hard lessons and I believe that I will be able to use what I've learned to help others. I have notebooks full of ideas.) I'm fired up, ready to go and completely confident of reaching my goals. So -- go on -- take a chance and drop me a line. I have a few stories worth sharing and look forward to hearing yours. |
