My name is Randy Kraft and I am a condemned prisoner at San Quentin, in California, U.S.A. My former life ended in 1983, and I have been here on Death Row since 1989. I'm sixty-two years old, but I stay in good physical condition and stay young in mind, too. I'm not an old fogey. I like to read all sorts of things and listen to most kinds of music. I enjoy and am pretty good at crossword puzzles and Sudoku and I like to write. Unfortunately, most of the mail I get is from souvenir hunters, people chasing weird fantasies and other people looking to publish magazine articles or write books. I'm beginning to wonder if there are any sincere people out there! A friend of mine here, another condemned prisoner, gave me the information on Cellpals and encouraged me to send this letter. I am friendly, low-key and sincere. I am gay, but not prejudiced. Indeed, in my former life I has as many straight friends as gay ones, so don't worry about that.
