Sometimes we, as prisoners, get so
bogged down by the hardships of prison - the sadness and loneliness -
that we tend to forget that many people on the outside experience a
great deal of sadness and loneliness in their lives as well.
Sometimes they need someone to talk to, someone to be there for them and
assure them that they matter, even when life tries to convince them that
they don't; Sometimes people who aren't in prison need friends
too. So, for that reason, instead of just looking for someone to be my friend and rescue me from the misery of loneliness, I'm looking to be a friend to someone as well. I had everything I've ever loved taken from me, when I was sent to this place, so I know how it feels to be forsaken. I don't think it's fair for anyone to have to feel the deep hurt and sorrow of not having anyone to confide in... like I felt when I was thrown in this cold, dark cell. So, if you're interested in having a friend who's unselfish, thoughtful and who'll genuinely be there for you, then write me. I'm smart, passionate, open and if I alone was able to find the strength to smile in prison, then just imagine what we'll find together. |
