Dear Servants of God,

       In the first place, may I say greetings to you in the blessed mighty name of our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and may gratitude's be credited to the Almighty God the Creator for His loving - kindness, that He has made it possible for me to contact you in this manner.

     Please do allow me to apologize of the quite unforgivable presumption of writing to you in this manner.  I do hope and trust that my letter will not be to disruptive or an effrontery to good sense.  It's also my humble prayer to God, that my letter will not have any effect on your daily schedule.

     At this point in time, allow me to introduce myself to you before I forge ahead.  My full names are Alex.M. Kaseya, aged 28, a male convict serving 18 years imprisonment with hard labor on the Zambian Maximum Security Prison.

     I was married with two children.  This happens to be my 7th year in prison and I am not due to release until the year 2014, February, 20th.

     The prison is located some 900 miles away from home, where my family are and cash has stripped the, to be unable to meet the high transport costs to this place, leading to having no visitors. It's for this reason that I write to you in a personal capacity. 

     It's my sincere hope and prayer that this letter will reach you safely and find you in the best of health, both physically and spiritually, but I am also with hope that my mail will surprise you more particularly as it comes from a stranger and a prisoner, for that matter and this will not simply mean because you are God's light, the light tat can be seen some miles up and much far away on the land and cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14).  How thrilling it is to be part of God's light, shining on this dark and corrupt world.    

     I became a born again Christian after accepting and receiving Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, even my Lord, right here in prison.  It was after realizing that I was dead spiritually and was living an empty life without Jesus, which was meaningless that I decided to surrender myself before God and His son, Jesus Christ.

     I am really in need of a spiritual giant, like you, who could be encouraging me with the word of God through sharing with me some Christian literature, material such as Bibles, newspapers, magazines, taped messages, etc. 

     Ambassadors of the living God, I will be very much glad if at all God will make it possible for you to answer my humble request.  Or rather, my apologetic request.  It's also my prayer that my letter may be read in a certain group of people (organization or church) or rather circulate my letter within your circle or within your fellow devoted servants of God, so that who ever is willing to correspond with me, may contact me on the address provided above.

     With these few words, may I rest my case by simply sending my regards to you, all your families, all your fellow devoted servants of God, all the children of God and all the folks with you there daily.  God bless you, and may the name of our Lord Jesus Christ fill your hearts with wise thoughts and peaceful intentions, even as I look forward compassionately to hearing from you so soon.
