My name is Rosendo Garcia.  I am from Abilene, ( Texas)  I stand 5' 4" and weigh about 150 pounds and I am 29 years old.  I'm currently incarcerated here at the Eastham unit in Lovelady, Texas.  I have been here for 3 1/2 years.

     As far as I go, I'm a very caring person and family oriented.  I'm not a house mouse.  I enjoy outdoor activities such as swimming, going to movies, restaurants and shopping at a variety of places.  I like sports such as soccer, basketball and football.  I like to watch the news and be aware of what is happening around me.  I also enjoy going to lakes, zoos, parks, fairs and rodeos.

     I'm a very active person and work hard for a living.  I am an honest person as well.  I enjoy doing a lot of laughing and smiling cause life is too short to always be angry or upset.  I enjoy making those around me feel comfortable and welcomed in my presence.  At this point in life I need someone to reach out to me to write to and to just correspond with.  It gets lonely here, even though I am constantly in contact with someone every second of the day.

     I'm looking for someone who likes to write and has a sense of humor as well.  I want to build a friendship with someone that will last.  I will answer any and all letters mailed my way.

     I know my being here is my own fault, but I'm only human and make mistakes as well as others do.  The only difference is I'm trying to learn from mine;  So, I may be a better person.  If asked about my sentence, I will let you know what crime I committed and why.
