It's stated, "That a picture says a thousand words."  Hopefully, with this short introduction, it could be a thousand +.  My name is Curtis, I'm a 26 year old African-American man, in search of friendship;  Someone I could share my thoughts with;  my hopes and dreams.

     I am an open minded individual who enjoys life, laughter and a free spirit.  The situation I find myself in is unfortunate, but it is what it is.  I'm making the best out of it.  I have been incarcerated for 7 years now.  I'm currently residing in New Lisbon Correctional Institution.  I've been here for 6 months now.  I spend the majority of my time reading and working out.  I like to consider myself an intelligent person.  Like everyone, I want the best out of life.

     I've come to realize during my stay here, that one starts to have greater appreciation for one's freedom when it's taken from you.  I have spent a great deal of time in deep thought and I'm confident that I am, and am continuing to evolve into, that man that will make someone a very happy woman.

     It is my hope that this short introduction could be the start of something we could call a lifetime of friendship, happiness and companionship.
