My name is " George S. De La Rosa".  I was born on Feb. 17th, 1959 and am a Mexican American.  I am serving a 25 year sentence at the Mark Stiles unit prison in Beaumont, TX.  Originally from San Antonio, I am of the Catholic Faith, which I dearly love.  I love music so much, I sang in the Catholic choir here about seven years, but now I feel led to be a reader of the Holy Scriptures during Holy Mass.  Even though we are  only allowed to have Holy Mass about twice a  month here.  We are a very small Catholic community and try to be strong in our faith.  I am searching for Catholic pen pals who might care to be spiritual Mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters or just friends in the Catholic faith. 

     I am searching for spiritual friends who would be serious about corresponding.  Friends who are positive, who can carry on a conversation, not afraid to express themselves, friends who are intelligent and have their own opinions yet enjoy laughter.  I enjoy writing and have written a book about my life, which I hope to soon get published.  I am also writing a novel about the future and am seeking help getting my works proof read, edited and transcribed onto a disk or hard copy manuscript format.

    I spend the majority of my time working out, writing, drawing and reading good books.  Everything I write is based on my Hispanic, Catholic roots because my faith is very important to me.  I will do my best to conduct myself as a gentleman, and remain a positive force and share my faith with any interested.
