Hi! It's a pleasure to have this golden opportunity to be able to correspond with you all in society. I'm 32 years old, 5'8" and 170 lbs. I was born and raised in Shreveport, LA. I have been incarcerated 10 1/2 years and hopefully, be returning to civilization soon. I have varied interests: reading, writing, fitness, sports, quiet time and being with that special someone. I'm confidently seeking friends! I'm aware that there are thousands, if not millions of lonely compatriots out there who need prisoners of my caliber. I'm as well very lonely! There is an old saying, "it's better to light one candle than to curse the darkness." When we help someone in need, even the little that each of us is able to do, we are spreading love, lighting a candle in the darkness and our love light shines a long way. But, it is much harder when you don't have family and friends support; no one to send you cards, books, magazines, newspapers or wish you Happy Birthday. Last, but not least, to even write you a letter of encouragement, letting you know someone cares. Loneliness can surely take it's toll effectively, mentally and emotionally.
