Thanks for your interest in emailing prisoners! Our Email services provide a means for people who wish to write prisoners, and offer their emotional support, during a difficult time in a prisoner's life.

We offer email services for prisoners and prisoner webpages (a prisoner does not have to have a webpage in order to have email services with us). If you are just now ordering a website for a prisoner having an email account is a great addition and definitely increases the chances of the prisoner recieving weekly mail from our online visitors!

We also offer email services for freeworld people like yourself who would like to have an email account where you can write directly to the prisoner of your choice. All you have to do is provide us with the prisoner's name and the prisoner's address (if the prisoner is not listed with us) and each Friday of every week we will deliver your emails to the units. You can write to as many prisoners as you want and you do not have to pay for each e-mail that you send out. This service is also ideal for people who want to email prisoners yet want to keep their address private from the prisoners. Here's how it works: If you set up an email account through us you can email the prisoner of your choice. A prisoner will then respond to you by using our address where we will then forward the letter, through the U.S. Postal service, to you. We will need a valid postal address in order to mail the letter to you, however your address will be kept confidential.

Once you make payment please email us at: SUPPORT@CELLPALS.COM with the name that you would like for your email address to be, and your postal address (if you are keeping it private from the prisoners) so that we can forward to you any prisoner replies to your email.

HERE IS HOW IT WORKS

1. We forward messages from you to a prisoner each Friday of the week.

2. If you are a family member or friend of a prisoner you can purchase an email account for the prisoner so that you and your family/friends can send letters via the Internet. If the prisoner has a webpage with us an email option will be added to the prisoners website.

3. A prisoner cannot respond to you by email because prisoners do not have access computers.

4. If you see an email icon on a prisoners page you don't have to pay for this service. The icon means that they already have an email account and you can email the prisoner for free. Purchase this service only if you are purchasing an email account for a prisoner so that you can contact the prisoner via Internet.

5. This service is ideal for family members/friends of a prisoner who wish to contact a prisoner via the Internet. You and family or friends can write to the prisoner through the prisoner's email account then the prisoner can write to you directly.

6. You can use this service if you are from a country other than the U.S. This service would be exceptionaly cost effective, and time saving when it comes to mail delivery, for overseas members. Postal rates are high and mail delivery is slower when mailing into the U.S. With this service you save time and money.
