In Your Eyes
In your eyes, you dance softly beside an autumn fire, as Moonlight Sonata timidly struggles to rival your elegance, resounding your beauty one delicate note at a time, the once bold composition now nervous and shy.... In your eyes, Venus cringes with envy, Michelangelo weeps in silent defeat, Beethoven's tears fall ever so gently upon his beloved ivory as the masters of canvas struggle feverishly to redefine beauty, crushed by their own inadequacy... In your eyes, the Gods become alive, time loses meaning, poetry dances within passionate dreams, swirling luxuriantly in crimson velvet as your spectral oceans ebb wildly, a mélange of blue and green... In your eyes, my soul lays bare upon your altar, intoxicated by your glow as I stumble awkwardly forward, tethered by the invisible leash of doubt, yet drunken with desire... So lost am I in your silken intensity as you awaken the violets with kisses of ambrosia... In your eyes, I am forever lost, longing only to caress your wings... Had I a throne in the Hall of the Gods, I would relinquish it in the heartbeat of a butterfly for but one fleeting chance to become one with the light that exists only in your eyes... |
| Dear Sunshine, Passionate musician seeks the soft presence of a sincere and playful sweetheart in my life, for warm friendship or fiery romance. Now, I'll attempt to describe myself. :) Emotionally balanced and uncomplicated; inspired by loyalty and compassion, fiercely loyal and attentive friend and lover; Patient listener ( a captive audience!); Drawn to the exotic but appreciate beauty in all things, especially nature; Enjoy skydiving and snorkeling, but also a computer junkie and avid reader who loves playing Scrabble. My most treasured gifts in life are love, language, art, nature, and music, though not in any particular order and preferably in some combination! Also, an artist and writer, though playing and writing music for the guitar are the most spiritually rewarding. Musical influences include Bach, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Tori Amos, Alice In chains, Mozart, and many others. If you can enjoy a Bach prelude played on classical guitar by campfire light, then we'll get along wonderfully! I cherish the girl who burns candles and incense for no special reason, who doesn't mind having doors opened for her and delights in finding roses on her pillow. I love animals and children and especially enjoy travel, camping and being on or near the water. I watch very little television and am not into sports. Career background is mostly computers, engineering, and teaching music. I speak, read and write Spanish and plan to spend time in Mexico and South America. So, if you speak Spanish....Hola, Querida! Me encantaria conocerte! I'm close to going home, but for some reason I've been getting a bit lonely lately for some encouraging words from a sweetheart out there.
