     Hello free world!  I'm Harry James Burdick.  Everyone calls me James.  I think my family and friends think I'm more of a James than a Harry and I'm inclined to agree.  I'm more James Dean, than Dirty Harry!

     Hailing from the South Shore of Boston, Massachusetts, I grew up just down the street from where the New England Patriots play.  Of course I got locked up before Tom Brady and 3 Super Bows, but I've always loved that team, no matter what.

     I'm serving a life sentence and I take personal responsibility for my actions.  I could have received a lot less time had I put that responsibility on others, but I think it's cowardly.  You make your bed, you lie in it.  More importantly you try to make amends to the people you have hurt, including your loved ones.

     So, I'm trying to make the best of my situation here and I don't spend time regretting the past or wallowing in self pity.  I try to stay busy.  I'm currently taking Adult Continuing Education classes and Vocational Training.  And, I've completed several Theology, Religious courses through Religious Education Schools and Churches.

     I have a deep love for the ocean, I love to Scuba dive, fish and miss the serenity of the calm sea as I'm lying in my boat, staring at the sky.  I try to exercise and stay in shape.  I love listening to music, reading and drawing.
