At last, I have found you.  I have been looking all over for you.  What, you don't remember me?  Yeah, I suppose it has been a long time.  A lot has changed, so why don't I catch you up?  I only have 300 words to use now, so this will not take long.  Hopefully, we can continue our talk later.

     I have been incarcerated the past 23 years for a morose conviction.  I took a wrong turn and ended up on destruction highway.  I have changed a great deal, probably why you didn't recognize me at first.

     I was married, now divorced; father of two beautiful children and grandfather to a beautiful grandson.  I am six feet tall, lean muscular build, light brown hair and blue-green eyes that operate like mood rings of yore.

     It has been a long, tough journey to reach you.  I had to tear down who I once thought I was and rebuild myself into the man I was meant to be, all along.  Like a tree that loses it's leaves in the winter, I stood bare.  And in the Spring, bright leaves covered my bareness.  Since that time, I have not lost my leaves in the harsh winters.  And, now when the winds of life blow through my leaves, you can hear the beautiful sound of happiness.  I learned to forgive myself, to love myself and to respect myself.  Knowing that I could not ever hope to love anyone the way they deserve to be loved if I first did not look within.  Introspection has been a great asset to me.
