" THE SHIELD OF UNITY"
From the lower plains to the highest hill,
I journeyed thru life for a love I sought to feel.
My heart and spirit being the source of my inner light,
guiding my every step on a path with wisdom and insight.
Like that of a bold and mighty Eagle which flies high above,
So also were my hopes in search of a genuine love.
Visions and dreams have told me you're there,
A gentle caring spirit so unique and rare.
I heard a whisper as the winds softly blew,
the voice of the 'Great Spirit' that I'd find you.
I journeyed on to the far corners of the Earth,
being it is you who symbolizes all that my life is worth.
My journey even took me to a far away shore,
A beautiful place which my heart had never been before.
You, my dear, I long to find wherever you are,
And wish this to be as I gaze upon every falling star.
At night I lay down in hope of seeing you in my dreams,
because without you beside me, life just isn't what is
seems.
I pray that the shield of unity be the symbol of a
wonderful fate,...to which at last I find in you
to be my eternal soulmate.

"Walk With Me"
Walk with me my friend if you ever feel alone,
And my support for you in every way will gladly be shown.
Talk with me my friend with everything you wish to share,
For my understanding is given for you to know I care.
Laugh with me my friend when your spirits are high,
For I would rather see you happy then to ever see you
cry.
Cry with me my friend if ever you should feel sad,
For I will be there with you through all the good times
and bad.
Share with me my friend all the beautiful things you see,
And I will share with you the love I feel for all
eternity.
Create with me my friend passions, hopes, and dreams,
Together it can be done regardless how difficult it
seems.
Pray with me my friend whenever you feel uptight,
If God don't answer you'll surely have me to help make
things right.
Work with me my friend each and everyday,
For I will be there with you every step of the way.
Eat with me my friend and enjoy the very best,
For at my table you will be my very special guest.
Sing with me my friend the songs you wish to reveal,
And I will sing to you a loving song of just how you make
me feel.
Be yourself with me my friend that's all I ask of you,
And you will find a friend in me who you can count on to.
Walk with me through life my friend and I can make things
better,
For the price to have a friend like me is that of a
simple letter.

"The Poesy of Art"
My mind is vague resembling somewhat a shadowy curtain,
Yet my mind will soon be luminous for that I am certain.
Contemplating my thoughts to capture a feeling I can see,
Before I undertake this task, which lies before me.
Into deep concentration I search within my heart,
And meditate on the feeling of what will become my art.
Flashes of scenery flow remotely through my mind,
But there is yet a particular feeling that I seek to
find.
Patience as I am aware is a main valuable key,
And one to unlock the imagination of my inner ability.
Senses begin to intensify to simulate a significant
dream,
To where it all suddenly becomes so splendidly serene.
Sketching the canvas board I initially begin to do,
To portray my feelings and bring everything into view.
With complete confidence and dexterity I begin with a
steady flow,
For slowly but surely the picture commences to show.
This painting of mine I most certainly will bring to
light
As I am utmost assure it will be a beautiful sight.
There is nothing quite more felicitous I love to share,
Then the beauty of an art that is remarkably unique and
rare.
I only suppose no price greater can possibly be paid,
Compared to the feeling of a creation a person just made.
For every artist may in fact have their own particular
style,
Yet with every art I complete… It ALWAYS makes me
smile.
